Tecnocarp has participated in an initiative to equip the municipalities of Pontedellolio and Vigolzone (PC) with a vehicle for transporting disabled and elderly residents.
The purchase of the vehicle is the fruit of a sustainable mobility project that unites the public and private sectors. The initiative, promoted by the company Europa Servizi srl, has allowed the municipalities to have free use of a Fiat Doblò thanks to funds provided by private individuals who have purchased advertising space on the vehicle in question.
“This is a valuable vehicle”, stated Rosa Taschieri, the councillor responsible for social services projects in the Municipality of Pontedellolio, “because it is also equipped to transport wheelchairs and will be used, for example to accompany disabled residents who must attend day centres or social rehabilitation facilities. There are some mornings or afternoons when the vehicle is not in use and so we are thinking of ways to make the most of it, for example by transporting elderly people who need to attend medical examinations or have tests done, but in any case always for the good of the community”.
Each party who contributed to the purchase of the vehicle was awarded with a certificate of recognition. And here’s ours!!
