EXPOlaser, trade fair at Piacenza Expo, is the only professional expo of laser technology for industrial application in Italy.
Tecnocarp was at the 2013 expo, the first to add a new section of the fair, TubItaly, machines and technologies for pipes, a top sector for the province of Piacenza.
EXPOlaser is very different to other specialist expos, thanks to its strong applicational, practical vocation. One particularly interesting idea is to set out a recruitment area for specialist jobs, coordinated by major employment agencies.
“These are two industries of great importance to the economy of Piacenza and Italy as a whole, and they are also bucking the trend compared to the recession found elsewhere,” stressed Francesco Timpano, council assessor for economic development.
Angelo Manfredini, president of Piacenza Expo, also expressed his satisfaction: “We are in the ninth year of Expolaser, which is confirmed as the only Italian expo dedicated to these technologies, and now it has been joined by TubItaly to showcase a major industry in our area, which can be found all over the world”.
President of the legislative Assembly, Palma Costi, was keen to stress how: “Every time, travelling around the different areas, one finds companies, bodies and businesses that are extremely competitive and which focus on innovation, never giving up in the face of recession. And that is what has happened in Piacenza today.”
