Piacenza Mec Group, the first network of metal and mechanical businesses in Piacenza, was set up at the end of 2013.
The aim is to promote the entire production supply chain on export markets and specifically in Europe. The advantage to the customer is to have turnkey products and to be able to deal with a single interlocutor.
Tecnocarp is a promoter and head of the network, which brings together 10 companies from the Confapi Piacenza association.
It took several months to fine tune the network agreement but in the end, we have managed to create a genuine metal and mechanical supply chain. This has allowed companies that until today manufactured unfinished goods under contract, to come together to form the whole supply chain and be able to offer finished products and look beyond national markets and on to international ones.
The agreement signed is also open to other businesses in the area who would like to join us, with the aim of offering maximum availability to capitalise on the Piacenza system.
With this network contract, the aim is to give two signals to the area: it is possible to put in place a system in Piacenza, and association can play its part in creating new development opportunities for our businesses.
