In 1973 Umberto Ballotta founded a small mechanical workshop.
In the forty years that followed, this little workshop would become a large company specialised in processing and supplying medium-heavy metalwork, and make a name for itself as the market leader: Tecnocarp.
The quest for success initiated back then by Umberto is still pursued today by his children, who display their father’s same passion for the industry.
As the quality of the services provided improved, the plant itself grew and currently spans an area of over 8,000 m2. It is situated at only 20 km from Piacenza, the strategic hub that links the main motorways of the north of Italy.
Today Tecnocarp boasts a team of over 20 highly qualified, reliable workers. The company has held on to one element from its origins forty years ago: the desire to work in pursuit of continual improvement, in terms of the company’s products, production processes and the quality of its work.
